JACKIE:
Jacquelyn Eaton, Co-President
Jackie holds a BA from SUNY in Mass Gathering Health and Safety and is FEMA certified in Special Event Contingency Planning, as well as the National Incident Command System and Incident Command. Before she was Director of Corporate Operations for Terrapin Presents and Compliance Director for Gathering of the Vibes festival, Jackie was working as the Manager of Medical Education at the Westchester Medical Center. She resigned that position in 1999 to fill an important niche in Terrapin's festival operations, that of a liaison with all of the municipal officials involved with the planning and execution of an event. Her hospital experience in dealing with local and state health departments, accrediting agencies, risk management, and affiliation agreements paved the way for her transition into festival and concert production. From 1999 to 2003, Jackie helped Terrapin obtain eight New York State Mass Gathering permits and multiple municipal special event contracts, as well as increase concession revenues ten fold. Additionally under her purview has been the management of licensing, trademarks, and event and corporate branding and messaging, and she comfortably works with both the creative and legal/admin teams and moves seamlessly between the two. Vendor negotiation, event marketing, logistics, public relations, and project management are specialty skills that she has honed over the past twelve years, and she brings professionalism and a get-it-done attitude to every assignment.
